About Me
Discover the story behind my journey as a private sushi chef and the passion that drives my culinary art.

Chef Tadashi Yamamoto
After 30 years in the corporate world, I made a bold career change in the Netherlands, pursuing my lifelong passion for sushi and Japanese culinary traditions.
Trained at prestigious Sushi school (Inshokujin University) in Tokyo and on-site experience in a traditional sushi restaurant in Shiinamachi, Toshima ward, Tokyo. I now bring authentic Edo-style sushi to customers here in the Netherlands.
My journey from corporate employee to sushi chef has been driven by a deep respect for Japanese culinary traditions and a desire to share the taste of the traditional techniques in the intimate setting of your home. Each piece of sushi I create represents both my personal transformation and my commitment to honoring the techniques passed down through generations.
As a private chef, I embrace the philosophy of shokunin(craftsman) - the dedication to one's craft. I source the freshest ingredients, prepare them with meticulous attention to detail, and serve them with pride and humility in the comfort of your own space.
I invite you to experience the result of this journey - a personalized dining experience that brings authentic Edo-style sushi directly to your home.
